I've created a user style for subreply that, IMO, improves the experience a bit. It felt too thin and the text too small, this resolves that without changing the underlying feel of the site: gist.github.com/pe...

Oh, thanks for that, I used to really be into Brad Mehldau :-) There are a lot of great live sets of various kinds on YouTube, it's kinda intimidating really. All of the NPR "Tiny Desk" concerts are also pretty good.

Direct bank transfers and Stripe. But that's for our sponsors. The newsletters themselves are free so we don't have paid subscriptions. Memberful (or even Substack) are worth looking at if you want to go the paid newsletter route.

How did you start with getting paid subscribers? I have this theory that a lot of content monetization is currently very, very, very hard and often pointless (medium/substack). Curious to hear somebody who is actually running it with revenue, as I could easily build few of those myself. I just don't understand sales process at all, where to start?

BTW, I'm one of those people weird enough to have my own finger server running.. so from your favorite shell/terminal, just run "finger peter@tcp.rip" and you can see my latest updates. It's similarly a "text only" mechanism but not quite a social network ;-)
