I want to visit an Apple Store to see and try out the iPhone Air in person. I'm not sure about getting a thin phone... a shorter one? Oh yes, definitely!

sad that the mini form factor doesn't look like it'll ever come back. that was the best size.

Most important part is to just show up to class & pay attention. No phone or browsing. Most exams will be straight forward if you're attentive. Finished college about 8 years ago and honestly found ratemyprofessor very helpful for picking good instructors.

A 1L (32 oz) HydroFlask (approx. $50): the best water bottle I've ever had, can keep anything cool regardless of the temperature. Nothing ear (1) earphones ($99), good earphones with great noise-cancelling and amazing price. A Moment telephoto objective ($50) to use with my phone.

moment's a great company, plus they're based near Seattle where I am. currently contemplating on whether or not to buy another hydroflask- this may be a sign

Non-IT: Good frying pan. Electronics: MX Mouse Anyhwere 3 was a nice upgrade since it has three pairing profiles and good mouse wheel haptics. Slightly out of the ordinary.

reminds me of this: "The goal of adulthood is to let go of the other possible existences and to make the best of the one. A successful adult is one who understands that it doesn't matter which life you ultimately pick, only that you live it well."

#TOTD This is a question that a colleague asked me a couple years ago, and it just keeps coming back to me. If one becomes informed about the damage that our meat consumption is causing on the planet, does it become immoral for one to consume meat? Say, if you watch a couple documentaries on Netflix and continue consuming meat, does that make you a bad person? I don't really have an answer. I think about it every time I eat a burger.

I think it's going to be much easier for me to eat less meat when I head off to college and I'm managing my own nutrition. I really want to try vegetarianism, pescatarianism, and veganism, intermittent fasting- I want to experiment and iterate and find what's best for me!

Stick with your values. Good things come from consistency, and make sure that actions you take in your day-to day don't detract from both tangible and non-tangible parts of your value system. This works to minimize regret and feel better about the way you live.
