🙂 Roy Sometimes life can be exhausting. But we have no choice but to keep pushing forward, until the last bit of energy in our soul
🦧 Simon Gray For those still putting it out there in the universe, please respect most consider it more polite to flush.
Zero Edge Local gas markets are weird. In any other market if there is a huge gap in price it get arbitraged till its gone. I am regularly seeing 20%+ price differences just a few miles apart.
Zero Edge In my youth I turned away from my faith. Not because I didn't believe but because I still had sin and believed the false doctrine that if I was not perfect I was not saved. I see many teachers who minimize the new covenant. Even in the old covenant you could atone for you sins with a sacrifice, but according to them the only way to be saved is perfection. Jesus praised the sinner who prayed humbly not the faker who prayed as if they were sinless. They would rather have a person leave the path than walk slowly on the path. They are the crows who eat the seeds.
🦿 Lucian Marin I was in hospital for 3 days. They didn't find a thing wrong with me. I still got joint paint after fluoroquinolone. After that I was fired. This is the worst year ever for me. It never ends.
🦿 Lucian Marin Combined effects of berberine and probiotics seem powerful: nature.com/article.... I am glad I have access to good studies. This way I'm not afraid of combining certain supplements. There're other studies where berberine or probiotics stop the progression of arthritis. I finished treatment for H. Pylori, but arthritis is still here. Now all the doctors say I have side effects of fluoroquinolones, but I don't have any muscle pain or tendon issues. Last month I walked 471 km. This month I didn't pass 90 km because I got really tired. I should go swimming while records on Google Fit can take a rest.
🦧 Simon Gray Just realised my SD slots are more universally compatible on my devices than various gens of USB
🦿 Lucian Marin I want to move my backup data from external SSD to microSD but they are still pretty expensive to achieve the same speed.
🦿 Lucian Marin I walked 23 km today. Rheumatologist told me not to hurt myself until this year is over. If I stay inside, I feel pain all day long. If I go outside, I feel less pain. Pain is moving from one joint to the other. I joined support groups for reactive arthritis on Facebook, people there lived with it for 25 years.
🐸 Simon Wish you the best!
😀 Tom I thought I'd check out Facebook, and now my feed is 90% "suggested for you" pages. I found a uBlock Origin rule that hides those, and it's funny/sad to just it sit there loading content, only for it to be removed until it finally loads a friend's post. Now if only there was a rule to block "shared" posts from appearing.

Zero Edge So your argument is that a highly complex system always existed (the laws of physics as you put it) but that isn't the only complex system you think always existed you believe every system including weather, life (birth), the complexities of the quantum realm, fire, and way more that I can't think of. Nothing in this universe is 'simple'. That is fine you believe a complex system always existed. I believe a extremely complex system always existed and it gave birth to our complex system. How exactly does your belief require any less faith than mine?
☕ David Antoine I don't know if I should consider the laws of physics as a highly complex system in itself as physicists still don't know exactly what's fundamental and what's emergent. QM for example describes reality with probabilities while ensuring they strictly sum to 1 and is all constraint by the Pythagoras theorem and the imaginary number. They call it the unitarity. Simple basics, complex world. Same for life down the road, provided you have the right initial conditions. I just watched this, he talks about why is there something rather than nothing better then me and it is obsoletely not trivial: youtube.com/watch?...
☕ Jun I like the style here... but the same time Subreply looks it needs more attention. I am afraid the folks here will be still able to keep the style as same as now in case more people joined here.
🦿 Lucian Marin Meta and Twitter charge users around $12 per month, not year and still serving you ads. That's insane. Everyone should move to Mastodon and Subreply.
👽 Paul Webb Does Subreply have image/video support?
👽 Paul Webb Oh wow, my account still works. What's up people?
🤚🏻 Vivek How was it?
😀 Tom It was okay. It was the latest one that was cowritten by the author's son. I noticed a stark difference in the writing right away, but it was still just as readable and enjoyable.

😀 Tom I had a dream where I was in a rush to get ready for school, only to realize that there was no school because of the holidays, only then to wake up and realize I still had to go to work!
