Burensasub OMG...there's an edit feature now!? Thank you !! :-D

📻 Jeff Wright Now that is a welcome feature. Something we've been trying to get some other sites to enable for many a year
🗨️ Fui Wow. Great addition (the perfectionist that lives in me is happier).
Diva I had not noticed! Thanks for the heads up
🏒 Lucian Marin You're welcome. It shows the actual edit time too.
🧿 Andrea I am trying to edit my messages and I'm getting a "you can't reply to yourself" error message (I'm on mobile on Chrome) thx!
🏒 Lucian Marin Resolved, reply and edit now use the same validation code.
🧿 Andrea I just made a reply on another thread and there is no edit button, any idea why? (when I can find it it seems to work fine though!)
🏒 Lucian Marin It disappears after someone replies to you or you mention someone. If you edit and delete the mention, the notification would remain.
🧿 Andrea I see! I mentioned somebody so it wasn't available
Chetan Vashisht Hey Lucian, can we also have a collapse thread feature?
🤔 David If you use an extension to apply custom CSS then this file should automatically collapse reply threads: github.com/dvaun/s...
🏒 Lucian Marin It can be done in JavaScript, but threads will still be rendered in full. Is clicking a button better than scrolling?
Chetan Vashisht Certainly. Collapsing a thread if it becomes too large is required to maintain clarity of the page. That's part of what makes it possible to survive reddit :p
🧿 Andrea +1 - When I see a thread I am not interested on (might it be because of the topic, or because I've already read it) I click the collapse button and step onto the next thing!
