Text in, text out, where is the pipes btw?
Jan I used to have an opinion on everything, but now I barely post anymore. When I'm about to post an opinion I think, "Why would anyone care about my opinion?", and when I go to post something factual, I think, "They can just google that themselves." Oh well, I guess the less you post, the less chances you have to say something stupid.
The Last I think the next phase would be "I have an opinion, no one would care, but I don't give a sh*t about that and post it anyway".

Diva I used to think that listening to audio books was "cheating" somehow; I don't really know why. But I am currently listening to a non-fiction book and I am really enjoying it. How do you feel about audio books?
The Last I like audio books for stuff that you can just jump in at any point and catch up, like a podcast. While books that require more thoughts and you have to get back to previous points to get the context, listening alone is just not a good experience.

Burensasub I've been feeling frustrated not being able to "like" people's comments on here but I'm beginning to realize that lack of "likes" could be a good thing because it forces you to come up with a better thought out response
The Last I sort of like "like" as an important statistic that support the conversation, but hate it when I saw how many "like" the post get before reading the actual content. Maybe hidden "like" would be a feature worth experiment on?

🐮 Slater How many unfinished projects do you have in your projects folder?
The Last I filled my 500Gb SSD with failed experiments. Together with an omni text file, it become my search engine for code snippets and evaluation of ideas

👾 Marty You can choose one streaming service (Netflix, Hulu, etc.). Which one do you choose and why?
The Last Twitch because I could interact with a niche set of people and feel less consumed by the media.

Nick Silvestri in the current moment in history, how do you find the energy to wake up and work in the morning? the only thing I really have the energy for is being a leech on society.
The Last If it's not for my loved ones, I wouldn't even try waking up.

🤔 David I recall reading a quote by Nieztsche being along the lines of "Insanity within the individual is rare; within the mass, it is the mean" - came across that a decade ago. Online the quote I see is "In individuals, insanity is rare; but in groups, parties, nations and epochs, it is the rule."
The Last That would depend on what insanity supposed to mean here. The voice of a group should be the mean of its members in a democracy, but often it is the voice of a few in power. Maybe when the defining voice is different enough from the mean, it is considered insanity?
