🦿 Lucian Marin Every year before WWDC I want to create a web based IRC. A few years ago I made Superthread. Recently I was thinking about a Craigslist with LinkedIn features. I got Maxmoil name reserved. Should I code this?

😀 Tom I'm not all that technical, but I don't see what the benefit of a Craigslist/LinkedIn hybrid would be.

Cole Hudson I'm hard pressed to think of a feature that LinkedIn has that is desirable at all besides it's graph, can you elaborate?

😏 Yt L. Perhaps with time, and maybe more users, people can start to organize into sub-networks with shared interests, by followers or hashtags.

☕ David Antoine @lucian had something like that with channels I think, or was it hashrefs? It was not Sublevel but another experiment. Multithread? I don't remember, it was more than two years ago I think... EDIT: Superthread! I think...

N How many total members do subreply have till date? How many are active?

☕ David Antoine Sublevel/Subcafe/Superthread listed that back then somewhere in the about page... I think it hovered around 2500 accounts but I am not sure to remember correctly.

🦿 Lucian Marin That was basically the concept, but in reality everyone was posting in the main channel. I was the only one creating new channels.

💬 Subreply Sublevel has moved to sub.cafe and now it's called simply Sub. Even more services and experiments will come soon on the subdomains of sub.cafe while superthread.net is going to expire next month.

🐹 Adam Minccino Superthread could have been good. But with the lack of activity it never could have been good. It needed more promotion. :(

💬 Subreply Activity defaults to liked things from your friends like it was on Subcafe. Explore has a global replied feed and text-only threads like on Superthread. And for obvious reasons there's a photos-only tab on Explore now.

💬 Subreply Sublevel was restored from October 23, 2017 backup. Superthread is no more, Subcafe will be shut down too. Sorry for the whole mess. All the good stuff from Subcafe is now on Sublevel including the new design and square photos.

☕ David Antoine Sublevel's back?! Seems that Superthread as kinda merged with Subcafe... Apparently last month activity/threads is/are missing also... @lucian, shouldn't you take what's best in Superthread and Subcafe and get back to a "unique" Sublevel social network? Interesting experiments, though it may bother some people...

🦿 Lucian Marin I'm really sorry for this whole mess. See the last update from @sublevel. This is what I did, merged Superthread with Subcafe, but restored Sublevel content from Oct 23, 2017 backup.
