😀 Tom An "up to" 18 hour battery, and twice as expensive? No thanks, I'll stick with getting the Pebble Time Steel with it's 10 day battery and always on color display.

😷 Everett Yep, this. While I still can't see myself with a smartwatch -- I wear a watch daily and smartwatches as a category mostly disinterest me -- the Pebble line is the only one that's kind of tempting.

😀 Tom Yeah, sometimes they develop great stuff, but sometimes they don't use the latest technology like other companies so that they can impress everyone next year with a year's old technology. Pebble is definitely an outlier with their 7-10 day battery life, but when all other smart watches that I'm aware of have well over 24 hour's worth of battery, Apple comes in with up to 18? That's fine; I stopped liking Apple years ago. But I can't help but think that anyone who isn't brainwashed, sees the watch as a joke.
