Simon Janes Ok, I'll take that back--if you were consciously aware your mind was going to fork, you'll have a good chance to adapt your mind as long as you can find new devices. If you were unknowingly copied, you would go insane.

Simon Janes Right. Crying is the baby learning vocal drivers and self-awareness. After some point, you differentiate noise you make from noise you hear and voilla, your brain/ears now process audio.
