If I mirror my brain, will the mirror start thinking for itself?

Unless you also duplicate your body, your mirrored mind will probably go insane without the "devices" (senses, body).

The brain adapts pretty quickly. People live happily without an organ or something else.

Ok, I'll take that back--if you were consciously aware your mind was going to fork, you'll have a good chance to adapt your mind as long as you can find new devices. If you were unknowingly copied, you would go insane.
