🤔 John I've been super happy with my iPhone SE after moving from android this spring, and I'm considering treating myself to a MacBook for Christmas. I would love to hear opinions from the Sublevel community. I understand that performance per $ is lower than mid-level windows laptops, but I'm wondering if longevity and productivity make up for it?

☕ David Antoine I can just tell you mine is starting to slowly fall apart after nearly ten years of (at least) moderate use. Screen hinges start to wobble but are still stiff. The keyboard and track pad "disconnect" regularly for a short period of time but the track pad is still smooth a precise. The left CMD key popped out. Battery dead of course. The screen is still good, just few dead pixels on the left border of the screen and the are grey, so generally not really visible. Not bad but...
