😀 Tom On mobile (Android), I see the emoticons. On my laptop (Mint & FF), I see two boxes with 01F44D and 01F44C, and a smiley (black circle, smile, and what looks like hearts for eyes).

Mark Dain I just tried on my laptop (Elementary OS), it's surprising how bad it looks. Emoji seems to have little to no support outside Apple's platform. Here is how it should look (rendered from iOS): imgur.com/oj7D4mD
😀 Tom It looks pretty similar to Android: imgur.com/a/4LOJF

Martijn At work I use Windows 10 and I am always surprised by how well their new black and white font for emoji work. Possibly better than Apple's way of forcefully rendering every emoji in their font.
