John Olinda Is it possible to set up an IFTTT recipe to send an RSS feed to Sublevel? So, post on my blog and then have it sent to Sublevel as a title and link?
Mark Dain No because Sublevel has no API (it was removed). At dinner with I contemplated writing a PHP class that abstracts away access to Sublevel so I can post automatically. Basically use curl to login, capture the cookie then make a POST request to the right endpoint

John Olinda I'm just worried that Sublevel will become a silo. It's relatively easy to get stuff out via RSS, but getting things in can't be easily automated. Ideally, I'd love to see a feature where you can just import things from RSS. So RSS in, RSS out. But I guess I can also understand wanting original content.

Mark Dain Sublevel already is a silo and Lucian seems to have very little interest in changing that. also told me he tried to get Lucian to implement rel="me" links so IndieAuth would work correctly but that never happened. I seriously doubt h-entry support would happen either. I'd be willing to write and host (for free) Sublevel API access as a service. I could support RSS and h-entry for posting.

🦿 Lucian Marin Not sure why rel=me is important, but I added it to profile links.

Martijn It enables distributed verification, using something like indieweb.org/verif... will now show that here is the same person as vanderven.se/martijn.
