🏒 Lucian Marin Neptune (getneptune.com) can be the next Apple, if they find a way to supercharge that tiny battery.

Mark Myerson I agree -- they way they have completely rethought personal computing is refreshing -- but I just wonder whether one of the tech giants will be able to copy the idea before/just after the Neptune Suite comes to market.

🏒 Lucian Marin Apple has tried with Continuity (apple.com/ios/what...). Their idea is that each device should have a full operating system which is always in perfect sync. That's time consuming and sometimes unreliable. They want to sell you multiple devices, not just one -- Watch, iPhone, iPad, MacBook, iMac. That's why I like more the idea of having one OS on the smallest device possible that gets more capabilities when is coupled with a bigger device.

😀 Tom Did you order a Neptune Suite? It's almost exactly what I envision personal tech should be like. I'm intrigued by it as much as I was by the first iPad when it was announced. Though with a delivery date of a year from now... a lot can change in between then.

🏒 Lucian Marin No, I didn't. But I like the concept and the fact that other companies try to push personal technology forward.
