😾 Oskar Why my post about spirit animals gets deleted? I just suggested that caring about gender in terms of intellectual conversation is misguided and stupid, if we would go by this road it will be more descriptive to assign spirit animals of choice (I'll take owl or smth). I hope that this was just server error so posting again. It's not in any way aggressive message.

☕ David Antoine I tried to respond twice to that Andromeda Pie post: [...ALL the people being problematic ARE white men]. Which is untrue, racist and a gross generalization. It is apparently not the case for some people ; unless you swap the good word. Deleted twice. I doubt it was a server error. But I just recalled that any reply with a subsequent reply attached to it can't be deleted. So here we go... By the way, what are spirit animals? Seems a pretty chill subject...

😾 Oskar Something I made up, but I can bet that exists already in heads of many people and is probably more descriptive of personality in terms of conversation that gender can be. It also doesn't require signaling like being male/female/else because I see people resonating with some concept of animal-like character features without a need to wave it.

🌝 William Nilliams While the expansion of gender as a concept weakens it in certain ways, such as limiting its usefulness in description, I think a lot of people use it for various other purposes, such as affirming their self identity, group identity, or for purposes of legal representation. In other words, many use the language of gender for other reasons, and they are allowed to do that.
