🤔 John I've been super happy with my iPhone SE after moving from android this spring, and I'm considering treating myself to a MacBook for Christmas. I would love to hear opinions from the Sublevel community. I understand that performance per $ is lower than mid-level windows laptops, but I'm wondering if longevity and productivity make up for it?

🏒 Lucian Marin Regarding longevity: the previous 15-inch MacBook Pro I bought in 2007 is still running and it's used by my family. The current 13-inch MacBook Pro I bought in 2013 is still fast on the latest version of macOS. You can run Windows, Linux, Haiku or any other OS on it using virtual machines or you can use Boot Camp to run Windows while transitioning to macOS.
