🦿 Lucian Marin Do you use Flattr? Would you want Flattr support on Sublevel?
Mark Dain I signed up ages ago but there wasn't a lot worth donating to. I'd sign up for Sublevel though!
🦿 Lucian Marin I don't know if it's OK to use a third-party service. I added back the sent rate and made it public on each member "replies" page. I noticed that everything is great on Sublevel, but nobody is happy. Maybe this will shake things a bit.
Mark Dain The sent rate looks nice. Honestly I don't know what you mean by nobody is happy. I'm really frustrated by the recent server problems but only because it's been happening for weeks now and means I keep losing posts I type out. Outside that, I think everyone is happy with Sublevel. Of course there's always room for improvements
🦿 Lucian Marin You should use the Sublevel app for iOS. It seems that Safari drops the connection to the server to save power while you spend time typing. There's nothing wrong with Sublevel. The server config didn't change for over an year.

Mark Dain Doesn't the app use WKWebView which is the same underlying engine as Safari? I don't see how that would make it work any better honestly. Btw speaking of the app, I emailed you offering to help with implementing push notifications, did you get that? I never got a reply :(
🦿 Lucian Marin Networking layer is different for apps. It never dropped the server connection for me. In Safari it happens everytime like you said. It didn't happen in iOS 8 so maybe it's just a bug, not a feature. Push notifications when Apple can't get anything right? I will cancel my developer account. It's a waste of money.
