I really like my Note 3, and would buy the successor if it would would die. The advantage is the big screen combined with the integrated stylus for sketching on the go. I don't know if that is something you would do, but if it is, it's definitely worth checking out.
Yeah, I've always wanted a tablet with a stylus, and the Notes aren't nearly as large (relatively) as they used to be. My pain point with them is the skin. If I can't have stock Android without losing stylus functions, it's game over. I'm sure there are custom ROMs though.
