Eric I'm not a fan of regulatory laws on tech, but pre-installed bloatware really needs to be taken out. Lenovo have pre-installed close to malware on my system. Terrible practice. I am not happy.
Mark Dain The first time I boot a new PC, it's the Windows DVD to do a fresh install.

Eric If I had the DVD I would every time. You know they don't provide even the back-up Windows DVD with new computers anymore? You have to do it yourself or give the store cash to do it for you. There needs to be a break of the PC World monopoly in the UK. (Though this model was from John Lewis, much better prices)

Mark Dain Amazon maybe? Honestly I've never bought anything from PC World. All the computers I get are either Macs or custom built PCs (so the drives are empty). I love not having to deal with bloatware.

Eric Oh man, I wish I could be so financially care-free to buy a Mac new. I can afford them but I really hate spending large amounts unless it's for holidays or something I'll remember. Large amounts on an electronic? no no no.

Mark Dain Don't think I have tons of money or anything! I just have no guilt. I *worked* to be able to buy this stuff. For instance, this gaming PC I just got has pretty much bankrupted me and will partly be paid back by selling my old Mac Mini. It also helps that I don't smoke or have any big, recurring expenses like that.
