Xy @joey if you're looking for a new touring bike, bikesdirect.com/pr... are pretty solid for the price. i would replace the saddle and pedals, but their prices for a new bike are very good. camping equipment can be quite expensive, but fortunately once you're out on the road, you're really only paying for food and some camping sites here and there.

Xy i have not, but a good friend of mine who is very knowledgeable about bikes (knowledgeable enough to have considered opening up his own bike shop) has purchased one of their higher end carbon road bikes and has praised them for their value.

📉 Bill Yea I've seen they're the cheapest way to get a decent bike to your door. I guess I was also hesitant on the setup, especially derailers. I know you can have a bike shop do it for you but it just seemed awkward
