We're going to lose the last exam term in this school year. This assistant lied to us about changing exam dates, and then avoided replying to emails for over a week, and so we didn't know when the exam is. When the information finally came to us, it was less than an hour before the exam started. This is the last term within this school year, and the next one is in January. More importantly, this is my last exam, and after this I should get a diploma, but now I'll have to wait for over 4 months because they gave a job to this inadequate guy.

He's not from our department so I guess nothing will be done about this. Usually this sort of wrongdoing is never corrected, because students are always wrong and always lying, and the professors and assistants always do the right thing. Can't say I've seen this at my department at all, but for the few courses that we had at other departments, things are just bizarre. I was failed on purpose on the analytical chemistry exam 10 times, where they would just give marks to the top 4-5 tests, and then toss the rest into trash; then they'd write that only those who passed showed up for the exam, so they would have 100% pass rate.
