What's the best place to host & share my holiday photos? Flickr? Facebook? Build / host my own gallery software? They would just be for friends & family.

Several people I know use Picasa (now Google Photos) for this. You can get a sharable album link that does not require your friends and family to have an account.

I used to really love Flickr but it's gone so downhill since Yahoo just ruined it. I have until October so I might roll my own that's based off my old, happy memories using Flickr.
