Lucas Nicodemus Sublevel is the social network I've gone to great lengths to find, only to forget, several times now. Usually it starts with an HN search, then finding Monochrome, and then finding the screenshot that reminds me that it's called Sublevel. [Presses enter several times because how does this work?] Anyway, I can't believe that it's just all who did both. Just didn't occur to me that the same person designed the app that casually had the screenshot of the website. Seems obvious now, of course.
🏒 Lucian Marin I can't believe someone actually go through all the stuff I made. Thank you!

Adam Douglas You're too modest. Have you seen the competition even in the general discussion forum market? Discourse and Flarum are whales--I don't care what fancy ass framework they use, they're slow and crap on mobile and not all that pleasant on desktop either. Sublevel goes against the current, because everybody seems to like bloated, slow app-like experiences, but as a very long-term IRC/BBS/forum user, Sublevel is that perfect blend of \chat\ and \discussion\.

🏒 Lucian Marin That's the problem with developers. They think they can create an awesome piece of software just by coding all kinds of cool features without having a blueprint, a design that tights all these features together. For example, to add total count of replies, I had to remove the possibility to delete your posts with replies. You can implement both features (delete any reply and cumulative counts) but the cost of doing this is much higher. And I prefer to stay cheap about these things. Cheap is the new black!
