Mark Dain I normally like dark themes but this is too black. How about a dark gray with light gray text?

🏒 Lucian Marin True black turns pixels off while white intensity can be controlled using the display brightness level.
Mobimach I love it! Running on a G flex 2.
Martijn Ah, yeah, I guess it will work specifically for OLED screen and be off-putting on everything else.
Mark Dain Without a control for contrast it'll still look off putting. I think a custom style sheet option might be cool. I don't have OLED so a dark theme would be just asthetics which it's not too good at.
Martijn I had this exact problem and almost imidiately turned it off. But I know I can't read pure white on pure black anyway so I didn't think I was representative of what people want any way.
🏒 Lucian Marin I made the dark theme much smoother now. I will keep tweaking things until I get them right. Not everything works perfect from the first time.
Martijn Definitely works much better for me now. Maybe offer a "Dark" and a "Dark OLED" with true black backgrounds?
🏒 Lucian Marin I can't. It's a boolean field. It can accept only two values. Even dark grey pixels consume less power than white pixels on OLED screens. I think it will be OK to have just two nice styles and get Sublevel to work efficiently with both of them.
