Sublevel does have @search for replies and a @people finder. For file uploads you can use third party services since they handle these much better.

Yea I was thinking of searching though my own posts and such, and I agree about the file upload part as well.

It doesn't have all the nice features like search or file uploads or anything but that makes it simpler
