Martijn Banging my head at this for the past hour or so: Picasa Webalbums apparently includes a X-UA-Compatible element that tells IE11 on my great-aunt's computer to use 'EmulateIE7'-mode. But the albums don't work in that mode. When I use the developer tools to switch to *any* other mode the website works. Ugh,
Eric Can IE use UserScripts as extensions? You could brute force the element into some other shape. A hammer for a screw but its just an idea.
Martijn There seem to be some possibilities for it, but nothing substantial or trustable (IMHO). Even if one of the solutions would allow me to execute JavaScript after the document has been rendered I doubt I can trigger IE to rerender the whole page in a different render engine just by changing a META tag.
Eric Realised that after hitting the [submit] button, have you tried writing to the webmasters to see if they can help?
Martijn Have you ever tried writing to Google? I wouldn't even know where to send it.

Eric lol, fair point. There's no hope down that route.

Martijn I guess I could set-up a Gmail account and just mail the same question to it once every second and hope some engineer takes note!
