I would be interested in reading how much your school wants to (or is) keeping track of what students are doing with the school's computers or internet connection. Maybe worth a blog post? There are very few people from the education side of things blogging about applied technology.

Yeah, I would like to do that. We are in a blended environment since the students use personal computers at school, but obviously on the school network. So we have to be careful to draw lines in safe places for both the students and us. We have to protect the school from potential malicious software, but also protect the students' privacy.
