Eddie_lomax Any suggestions on how to start cobbling together a Smart Home(tm)? I have a Nest, and want to get a front door lock, some lights, and maybe Alexa or Google Home, but am admittedly a little creeped out by the constant listening from Amazon or Google.

👽 Paul Webb The "always listening" feature is why I won't get a home assistant. I don't use Google products because of what they think about user privacy so that's already off the table. I'd love a decentralized one or at least one with extra security...maybe Apple will make one?
