Martijn Grades usually follow a normal distribution. I wonder if anyone would notice if you grade your students randomly, as long as you stick to a bell curve.

John Olinda Actually, it has been fascinating to see some of the abnormal distributions through the year. They usually even out over time though. Just for fun I should mention the idea of random grading to see which ones actually look at their papers after they get them back.
