It will be nice if Apple could scale M1 to other Macs: 2x M1 in MBP 16 and iMac, 4x and 8x M1 in Mac Pro. Maybe even a 2x M1 Mac mini.
Am i the only one who's not excited about this M1 chip? Ram is inside the chip, everything is hard soldered, you can't replace any component. I know it has been this way with macs lately but this time it's even worse. It seems to me that the sole purpose of those new chips is to make them more like iphones and ipads so that the only way to upgrade is to keep buying the newer models.
I am more excited with Risc V that M1. Apple vertical grow soon will have us all paying a a monthly fee just to be able to turn on our superfast Apple devices. And the kicker is, people will pay. He he.
Replaced Fira Sans (311 KB) with Route 159 (55 KB). Even if it's not the perfect typeface, I'll keep looking for lightweight replacements.
looks good on my Windows machine!
Could it be possible to have some dark theme with the Android app ? Or a theme toggle somewhere ? Thank you very much for having developped Su reply (:
I wasn't familiar with this font. Looks interesting. What did the creator mean by this sentence: "It is designed to take wide countertops inside letters, including lowercase b, d, p, q, making it even harder to collapse even in small size"? Wide countertops?
If care about weight, have you considered font-family:sans-serif? It's even lighter at 0 KB. ;)
Subreply fits the description.
Waiting for 16kb.club. (hey, hey)
1MB.club is also worth checking out.
what kind os music did yo hear when you go to develop?
Chilltrax radio station is playing in the background.
Worldwide FM and Radio Meuh
Today it was Black Sun Empire. Often it's either similar drum'n'bass or chill beat music. *edit*: sorry, overread the "os". You might find some good stuff on cchound.com
Whatever my music app thinks is most similar to Propellerheads - Take California
I like old English music. Anything from ABBA to Iron Maiden :)
I love to listen Radio Swiss Jazz or jazzfm.ro witch is one of the most beautiful and minimalist site I ever see.
Groove Salad from soma.fm is my go-to. Lava Lamp is a good Spotify playlist too.
Bad. Corona is massively back.
People are inviting me out to meet up. They just don't care anymore. I've done so well to isolate myself for over 7 months, and for nothing, apparently.
Is Germany shutting down?
In my country there are 10x more cases compared with last month.
what are some options excluding TypeScript and Flow for type-checking a Node project?
Location can be in Country or City, Country format. Birthday can now be in any of following formats: YYYY, YYYY-MM or YYYY-MM-DD. Both fields can be used to find people.
Evidently, the system deems my city invalid.
250kb.club is now server-side rendered thanks to svelte-kit and my naive trust in highly experimental software.
Curious; how large is the node_modules folder for a svelte-kit project? It looks awesome, but I've become more and more mindful of my harddrive space.
How I wish all my communications could be funneled into just one channel: e-mail, chats on different media, even phone calls, etc. All registered in just one app so it stays coherent and I don't have to browse 7 apps when I'm looking for something. It's far more of a legal problem than a technical one, and it's a *shame*.
What if people around us use the same communication channel ? I mean if I setup a Mattermost instance and I convince my friends and family to use it (separated by example by differents teams) all communication (text, audio and video) can happen in the same place !
There used to be something like that for IM called Meebo. It's a great idea, but do chat systems like Facebook allow third party apps?
How has corona changed your life?
It's made me reevaluate how strongly I desire social interaction. I live alone and have had minimal interaction for months and it's taken quite an unanticipated toll on my mental health. I'm also put face-to-face with the value in the work I do, finding it very hard to find the motivation to do something which, in the grand scheme of things, I don't really care about.
I don't know how much it has. All the concerts and festivals we wanted to go to got cancelled, but we just had a baby so we weren't going to any of them anyway. Now we don't need an excuse to work from home, and haven't needed to find anyone to take care of the kid during the day.
Lol, a MySpace clone: SpaceHey.com
Yessss! Took me back to 2005 ;-)
Too much nostalgia...
hello new website, you look pretty neat.
hello canadian person
I'm voluntarily traveling to see family during the worst COVID outbreak yet. My mental health has had a profound effect on my ability to work, and I'm starting a new job, and I can't afford to let my mental health suffer in the transition.
Mental health is as important as physical. Weigh the risks and proceed acording to your risk tolerance. I do not agree with outside entities forcing their risk tolerance on others but I suppose that is something that is debated endlessly.
Contagious diseases prevail on the historical proven vectors of the primordial behavior of the host.
If I had to pick one number to define who I am. I would pick two.
some nice vibe tonight, was cruising in car on some secondary road, so I was accelerating as I exited some village and my music was ramping up with the car and then dropped some basses ! It really felt a nice moment ! (despite the car being a diesel one ) The track : songwhip.com/jkuch...
I actually prefer diesel cars because in my opinion they have their power in the right moment which is in the lower rpms.
Cruising is so zen. I got an electric longboard this week and have been exploring my town at night. Seeing areas I usually have no reason to explore, feeling the wind buffeting my jacket.. I think I might have gotten addicted to it. Your post just reminded me that I haven't been using my mp3 player so now I'm off to make a cruising playlist for tonight!
4 days into my new desktop installation with Arch + BTRFS partitions and subvolumes, everything is going well !
Great to hear! May I ask why BTRFS and not just simply Ext4 + LVM?
