🦿 Lucian Marin Based on Paul Graham's suggestion (paulgraham.com/nam...), I bought sublook.com -- which one do you like better, Sublevel or Sublook? I vote for Sublook. It's easier to spell and remember.
😀 Tom I like Sublevel because it invokes the idea of a place to get together and exchange thoughts/news/etc. Sublook is a little awkward to say, and doesn't have the same connotation. I think Sublevel is also easier to spell and remember than Sublook (It's also a term people are more familiar with, so that helps in spelling and remembering). Sublook is more unique, but I don't think that outweighs the negatives.

🦿 Lucian Marin Having a dot com is the most important factor. I will never afford buying sublevel.com :( Keeping the first part of the name "subl" is kind of clever while the end joins a good family of names: Outlook, MacBook, Facebook, etc. The only thing that makes Sublevel better is that it's a dictionary word and that "personal attachment" from Graham's essay.
