Username change is nice yes. Don't use Ello even if it seems to have a nice interface also. I'm still impressed by Sublevel speed. Would be nice to have the possibility to change colors (I use it with the black theme for now) and customize a simple theme fast (at least for non developers). For new users, when you go to Search, there is a random user suggestion to follow, maybe list the new users there with also a list of "trending" or new hashtags for example ? Or filter by d
I changed the way links are parsed. The link parser is now regex based. No more dots, a bit harder for people to share them, but regex is a standard in any programming language. Would it be considered gauche to use hashtags on here? Are they even supported?
glad work. That would have been embarassing
I think the phenom has a distancing/anonymizing effect on Twitter, people see the hashtag but not so much the author. Then attention-seekers and griefers join in and poison the channel.
Another annoying thing about Twitter: the daily reminder that people coalsce around meaningless things by way of . But I can't tell if this is a problem with the medium or the people that use it. And all of this said, I think Twitter is an amazing and life changing app..
What is this thing? Do hashtags work?
What do do?
Are and mentions back?
