AMP is destroying the fabric of the web, but nobody seems to care. I quit my previous job because of this. They were trying to convert news feeds into AMP articles and feed them with plenty of ads. The solution to AMP madness is to create lightweight sites with minimal amount of HTML, CSS and JS code.

Let me rephrase: YouTube is probably removing it as the button no longer shows in the new interface. You can opt-in to it and see on youtube.com/new (clear cookies to opt-out again.)

YouTube removed the OPML subscriptions export. Guess I should finally write to code to sync up my subscriptions with my RSS reader.

Unfortunately I've ended up back at Press for reading RSS on my Google Pixel. Even though it's not maintained anymore, it's still better than almost anything else out there. I've noticed a bug where it consistently leaves the first article unread though, which is annoying.

I've had a bug in Press where it would not update the article list view. So I would tap on a category and instead of showing me the X unread posts I expect, it will show me whatever list view full of already read articles it decided to get stuck on Only way to get around that is a restart of the app and a resync. That's why I started looking for an alternative.
