Martijn It is a kit, made by KAWADA, a Japanese toy company. You can pick it up from Amazon (as I did). I spread it out to combine it with my studies and only built one page of the instructions everyday, so I really can't tell you how many hours it took. Really enjoyed the whole process and will definitely be looking at more nanoblock kits, feels more like a puzzle than LEGO did to me and works very well for winding down after long days.
