Mark Dain Browsers are gradually moving in this direction; they all seem to be de-emphasizing sites having SSL (like how Edge's padlock is now hollow rather than solid gray). I think over time the idea is to have SSL be normal/expected and have non-SSL be suspicious, which I'm totally in favor of.
