Nkrs That sort of stuff sucks. The other day I had to change a single line of text in this huge .NET application, so I cloned it on my computer from TFS (which is Microsoft's version control system), and then spent the next two hours fixing library references and folder permissions so it would compile and write .DLL files where it should.

👽 Paul Webb Well that sounds terrifying. I recently removed a node module I thought I didn't need and spent half a day tracking down the issue when my nginx server was under 100% CPU load.

Mark Dain What the hell, how did that even happen? I'd guess it was trying to index the directory? This sounds ideal for a blog post / technical write up!
