Martijn This discussion about gender separation for bathrooms flares up every once in a while, often because of something the U.S. did, just like the last couple of weeks. But can someone explain why we want gender-based toilets anyway? To make the discussion more concrete, we are talking about toilet stalls here, urinals might make things harder but there are already many places (from small restaurants to modern university buildings) without urinals anyway.
