Mark Dain As part of "embracing the uncomfortable" from my New Years Resolution list, I've decided to watch all 5 Twilight movies. I'm going in, guys. Wish me luck.
Martijn I was thinking of replying to some of your tweets about the films, but to do so I need to know something: have you read the books? As someone who has read all the books (including the gender switched one) and having seen the final film at the cinema I have a lot of opinions. Mostly coming from me ignoring a lot of story and instead focusing on lore.

John Olinda Wait, is live-tweeting the movies? Of all the weeks to take a break from Twitter, lol.

Mark Dain Never read the books. I really hope the romance is better developed, movies often cut that out to save time; e.g. Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley has zero chemistry in the movies. The difference is romance isn't exactly key to the story in HP. Didn't know there was a gender switched one? Do we learn more about Edward in that? Like what's going on in his head? Because sometimes I'm clueless to why he's so ... odd. I just chalk it up to being a vampire though

Martijn Gender switched as in: Beau moves to Forks and meets Edythe. So we don't get any insight into anything about Bella & Edward. There was going to be a rewrite of the first book from Edward's perspective, but I think that project has been put on hold indefinitely. I thought a lot of Edward's peculiar behaviour was explained though, but maybe I am misremembering how deep the films went into it.
