John Olinda My MacBook is finally starting to go, and I'm going to have to switch to Windows or Linux this time around since it's hard to justify the cost of a MBP. I'd be fine for web development since most of my tools are cross-platform, but I'm about to have a stroke trying to use ResophNotes for Simplenote on Windows. Any suggestions for a less-heinous alternative for Windows or Linux?
🦿 Lucian Marin Perhaps a second hand MacBook? Also, the new MacBook Airs are as fast as the MacBook Pros without the benefit of a Retina display.

John Olinda Yeah, I'm toying with the idea, although I'm not a fan of the glossy screen which is one of the reasons I'm leaning toward the Dell XPS 13 Developer Edition since it's much less reflective. But yeah, this MacBook was secondhand, so it wouldn't be the end of the world to go that route again. Either way it's going to be next to impossible to get another Mac that's easy to open up and modify, which makes me sad.
