Mark Dain @lucian has really scared me thinking about GitHub being acquired. Any ideas who would buy them? I have a feeling it may be Microsoft. I think it would be worth looking into GitLab later today.

🦿 Lucian Marin That wasn't my intention :) -- you're right, Microsoft will be a top candidate since they moved some of their projects from CodePlex to GitHub (github.com/microsoft). Anyway, I'm using BitBucket for Sublevel and a classic hosting provider for my site, so I won't be affected by an acquisition.

Mark Dain I forgot about BitBucket, I'll take a look as well as GitLab, but I strongly prefer hosted solutions as it protects me from bad acquisitions, e.g. MariaDB fork of MySQL when Oracle bought Sun.
