🦿 Lucian Marin Maybe I should reconsider the NoJS stance for input method on Sublevel. This is what I was working on: static.lucianmarin... (you can do everything with the code, even improve it).

🙄 Doug Belshaw Nicely done. Kind of balances usability with discouraging people writing essays. :-)

Bas Poppink How about making one or the other optional? is there a way to store a user's preference in their account?

🦿 Lucian Marin Just did that using `noscript` tag. There's no need for a setting.

Mark Dain I really like this, it works well. I have no problem with JavaScript if it *enhances* a website but it shouldn't be a requirement for most websites, Sublevel included!

Martijn That would be a huge step back for me. I use Opera Mini on my feature phone (aka dumb phone) and because websites are rendered by Opera and then sent to me the browser will reload the whole page after filling the box. A useless slowdown between writing a reply and hitting the submit button. Maybe I'll toy with it tomorrow and see if Opera Mini can't be excluded in some clever way.

🦿 Lucian Marin There was a reason for "maybe" in front of it. Browser compatibility is one of them.
