Adam Douglas Python in general is backwards. I couldn't stand the whole indentation-for-blocks thing. I started out on Perl and I've always been in favour of curly braces.

Adam Douglas Well, it's just proof that there is no objectively better language, it's just personal preference. Sublevel is a very well engineered piece of kit so Python can't be bad if you're comfortable with it. And besides, I know I'm in a minority for liking Perl; I've met many, many Python developers--meanwhile, one of my junior devs had never even heard of Perl.
