Dongsung Kim One of the major internet carriers in South Korea, KT, started to roll out 1Gbps FTTH fiber service at the price of KRW 35000 (USD 33) for 3-year contract. The current 100Mbps my family has is fine for me, but I guess I should ask them about this.
John Olinda How do I get signed up for this if I'm currently with Olleh?

Dongsung Kim You can call the number 100 (KT/Olleh Call Center) or visit the nearest store global.olleh.com/e... and ask about "GIGA Internet." Check out the details at smartblog.olleh.co... and dic.olleh.com/wDic... Availability varies by the region you're in, so check yours at help.olleh.com/ftt... (Sorry the links are in Korean)

John Olinda Awesome! I'll have to look into this :) We currently pay almost exactly the same price, but we carried over the plan we're on from the people before us, so I'm hoping it's not still under contract.

Dongsung Kim Apparently they have usage cap; if you use 100GB per day, speed gets limited to 100Mbps for the day. Their own IPTV service usage doesn't count, which is a huge net neutrality problem but no one cares.
