Eric Running Windows 7; Used X-Mouse Button Control to make the side mouse buttons control the volume and to my surprise a Win 8/10 style interface appears. Have I not noticed this in Win7 for all my years of its use or has something else brought this in? i.imgur.com/ns936u...
John Olinda Whoa, never saw that before. All my machines are Win10, so I can't verify that it's a universal thing.
Eric On my Win8/10 machine if I used the volume control keys on the keyboard it would appear. Just surprised it's in Windows 7. It even behaves the same way when hovered & scrolled over.

John Olinda Yeah, I can't remember ever seeing it on any Win7 machine. There are a few left in the school though, so I'll have to try it out and see what happens. Maybe it's a component the program installed?
Eric Perhaps, but for a component it acts absolutely like the native behaviour. If it's an imitation its a fantastic one. Even scrolling over it changes the volume as expected in later Wins.
