👨🏻‍💻 Dylan Taylor Wow this site renders _so beautifully_ on mobile
🦿 Lucian Marin You can use it as an app if you add it to home screen from Safari on iOS or Chrome on Android.

🦿 Lucian Marin Firefox brand is weak, it's associated with IE era and it's dropping market share like crazy. Mozilla brand got a nice refresh, it's trusted, it's associated with privacy and they got new good products that need to carry Mozilla brand. It should be Mozilla Suite for a new internet age: Mozilla Browser, Mozilla VPN, Mozilla Monitor and so on. This way the browser will be their main product, it will have internal focus and probably gain back the market share.
Nick Silvestri Firefox? Is that a kind of Safari?

Sergiusz Hey , why subreply on iOS Safari has a white theme? Will there will be an option to change it back to black?
🦿 Lucian Marin There is one. Turn on Dark Mode on iOS, iPadOS, macOS, Android, Windows, Gnome, etc.

🌳 Arthur Segalas Terrible to be honest. I don't use a lot of plugins, apart from an ad blocker, remembear and are.na, so no a dealbreaker for me. But if you use a laptop, try it for a week and you might be surprised by the amount of extra battery time you get compared to, say Google Chrome.
🧉 Martin +1 for battery performance in Safari. Chrome was eating too much. Apparently they're going to dramatically improve that in macOS Chrome soon, though.

Dan Heath - how do I use subreply on iOS? Hitting the return key just adds a new line and won't post. Am I missing something? Default iOS keyboard and Safari.
🧬 Thomas You're probably hitting 'done' rather than return.

❄️ Geoff What browser is everyone using these days? Anyone on Microsoft Edge?
🙀 Yoni Levy Brave. I really wish Safari supported multiple user profiles so I could give it a try!

🌳 Arthur Segalas I'm on Safari right now. The best browser for macOS in my opinion, since it is heavily optimised for that platform.

David Satime-Wallin Yeah that is true. Let's hope this place turns out a lot better :) The one thing I hope will come is an app for the phone. No more features or anything, just an app for doing exactly what this page does now.
John Noble Just add this page as an 'app' from Safari. What would the difference be? (Given that an actual app would just be a wrapper around the web page anyway.)

🦿 Lucian Marin Curly quotes are Unicode characters and now they are converted.
🤔 John Something still not right on iOS Safari, return doesnt submit with single or double quotes.

Personavox Mac OS X Sierra vs Mojave. Is Sierra safe to run ?
Joel Cipriano Yes. Sierra is still safe. I receive security updates regularly. Even for iTunes and Safari. But I would be using Mojave if I had a Mac with a Retina display. Explaining... something was modified from macOS High Sierra that made text blurry than usual on non-retina displays. System-wide. That's why I still use macOS Sierra. I tried a few times to use Mojave, but I can't tolerate the blurry texts.

🦿 Lucian Marin One week with NoScript in Firefox and now I can't live without NoScript. I even installed JS Blocker in Safari, but it's hard to use. In NoScript if I trust a domain and that's it, everything works.

Eric Made a polyfill to allow the `content` property to be animated in Safari, it's a hack job but a fun one; Link, video & CSS it runs off here twitter.com/oldnew... The goal was to make the script require no extra work from the dev, just include it. Built to scratch my own itch for my portfolio in development

🦿 Lucian Marin I just discovered that a lot of sites are disabling subpixel antialiasing. I think this is part of Bootstrap or other crappy CSS frameworks. Safari lets you preload a user style sheet. In order to enjoy beautiful text on all sites, I have to use a CSS file that contains a single line: * { -webkit-font-smoothing: subpixel-antialiased !important; }

💬 Subreply Sublevel can now be installed as a native app on iOS 11.3, just Add it to Home Screen from Safari and you're set.
