🦿 Lucian Marin AMD Ryzen 7 1700 with 8 CPUs and 16 threads at 65W for just $319 is a low power, low cost monster. Maybe I will even go back building my own PC since Macs are going downhill.

☕ David Antoine Yes I was thinking the same thing, the Ryzen 7 1700 is probably the most interesting when it comes to perf/price ratio. And 65W is very good. I would maybe even go with a Radeon graphic card, the last gen seems very good with Vulkan... Problem is the drivers... I'm thinking also to build a "medium" rig to replace my old MacBook Pro (2008). Not sure yet.
