Mark Dain Every time I try to load the site, it redirects to instances.mastodon... but just times out. Is it working for you? If so, please post a screenshot

John Olinda I heard they were trying to spread out registrations to multiple instances, so when an instance was maxed out it would send you to that site. Try another instance, like Icosahedron and see what happens.

☕ David Antoine Hello ! 1y 24w since your last post is a long break indeed :) Mastodon is nice but I prefer Sublevel's layout. I cancelled my account there so I don't know if they have improved their instance. It would be nice to have the same amount of users here, Mastodon is more frequented and probably more publicized...

Martijn It is more talked about only because it is one of those "decentralised" systems, I think. Not actually because it is any better. And it often turns out people don't self-host these systems anyway, which means they don't end up fixing the silo culture at all.
