🦿 Lucian Marin There are so many design details in OS X Yosemite. When volume is increased the last dot stays bright while the others fade away.
Mark Dain Yosemite is so ugly though but past experience (iOS 7) tells me they'll stubbornly keep the UI. It just looks so cheap and tacky.

🉑 Vincent Leeuw Kind of agree there. The iOS 7 redesign in general is a bit muddled. Not coherent enough. Kind of amazed at how Google seems to be getting everything right with Material, but will have to see whether or not that'll hold water when broadly applied.

🦿 Lucian Marin The translucency thing is bad design. I always turn it off. But I can't ignore other good design features it comes with. iOS 8 is worst than Yosemite, while iOS 7.1 is still better than both.

Mark Dain In what way is iOS 8 different to 7? I saw zero design changes. It's not just transparency I'm annoyed about, just the general feel. It looks like an OS designed for a child.
