Eric What would be a good use for a machine which is permanently stuck on Snow Leopard? It's not upgradable.
Mark Dain Perhaps you could run it as a home server for file storage? I wouldn't expose it to the wider internet as I'm sure there's unpatched vulnerabilities in Snow Leopard. Although if you were to go down that route, perhaps it would be better to wipe the machine and install Linux (Debian probably works fine).

Eric Debian was installed on its twin (not owned by me) so that is an option. It just seems a shame to remove an OSX which costs money (if you can even find it anymore) for something I could install on any dumb box. I'll figure something out. It has GarageBand, be it an old version, so I might have some fun like that and try my hand at bad music.
