Mark Dain I remember people talking about the "iSlate" before it (iPad) was announced. I've heard people talked about the iPhone before it was announced too. Given that, and the fact we knew almost everything about the iPhone SE before it was announced, I'm somewhat inclined to believe the Apple Car rumor mill. What does Sublevel think of it? Personally I wouldn't buy one but it does excite me; Apple doesn't make products unless they have a cool idea backing it (like touch screens for phones)

Xasasfdasfd Trying to work as a developer in the Apple ecosystem has made me realize Apple doesn't give a shit about me, so I'm not inclined to promote any of their products. Also, the very thought of a self-driving car with software written by the same people who bring us operating systems and "productivity" apps is terrifying.

Mark Dain That's a good point; it's likely to be self driving. I wouldn't trust Apple's car to be reliable software, however I would trust it to be somewhat secure which is something I rarely see in the IoT/autonomous space. Too many cars are hackable today.\

😀 Tom I don't care for Apple anymore. I am no longer impressed by their products (I used to be impressed by their products, even when I didn't like Apple as a company).

Mark Dain Yeah, I hate the general decline of Apple's software. They even watered down Disk Utility, which isn't a tool aimed at general end users :(
