Mark Dain What's the best place to host & share my holiday photos? Flickr? Facebook? Build / host my own gallery software? They would just be for friends & family.

Martijn Several people I know use Picasa (now Google Photos) for this. You can get a sharable album link that does not require your friends and family to have an account.

Eric Facebook? I'm struggling to recommend any. They all have so many faults. Flickr is so bloated and horrid since ever.

Mark Dain I used to really love Flickr but it's gone so downhill since Yahoo just ruined it. I have until October so I might roll my own that's based off my old, happy memories using Flickr.
